C3-SI

C3-SI is a major tool in any property risk management arsenal. The system is composed of an industrial polymer epoxy and aggregate or sand, depending on the application. C3 Overlays carries several solutions, conforming to just about any trouble area you may have. Aggregate applications include driveways, walkways, sidewalks, parking decks, loading docks, handicap access ramps, and more. Sand applications include entire pools, outdoor patios, and restaurant and kitchen floors, as well as garage floors.

Anti-Slip/Skid and Long Life

The combination of the epoxy and aggregate or sand provides many benefits. First and foremost, the aggregate/sand provides exceptional slip and skid resistance. And, properly preparing surfaces before application, in combination with a proprietary system for applying the epoxy and aggregate/sand, provides a bonus of sealing the surface it is applied to. In fact, it has been shown that these overlays can both repair many existing surface issues and extend the life of the surface significantly. The chemical nature of a polymer is such that it even has “stretch” qualities in freeze/thaw situations.

These overlays do not chip or wear like painted surfaces. High traffic zones are prone to wear and tear. Polymer overlays resist wearing, eliminating “slippery” sections found in high wear areas. Pool areas left to the elements over the winter months experience little or no cracking from changing temperatures.

Colored aggregate/sand can provide aesthetic benefits, in patterns or variations that suite your needs. Add your personalized information into the application… directions, warnings, or even a logo. These designs become a permanent part of the overlay; they are not applied to the final surface as with painted applications, and therefore are more durable – as durable as the overlay itself!
